Evocatively illustrated in a mix of three-colour monochrome and full-colour throughout. Glazed pictorial boards with silver gilded strip and illustration. Spine and corners lightly bumped. Previous owner's name inscribed in black ink on front pastedown. Very attractive (and now iconic) ILEA stamp depicting Pegasus on the ffep. Pages very lightly creased from handling, but are otherwise unmarked and completely free from tanning or foxing. Remarkable condition for a 35 year old school reader.
