Description: Consists of picture-strip stories – with 4 captioned, full-colour frames to a page – plus instructions on making "Rupert's Magic Star" and paper butterflies.

Enchantingly illustrated endpapers depict a pair of forest sprites perched on a branch, looking at two children in a tree house.

Glazed pictorial boards are rather creased and someone has inscribed 'MAG' on the front board with a black ballpoint (refer to image). Corners are bumped and the lower two are chipped. Spine bumped, and damaged at the tail. Ownership panel has original owner's name crossed out and replaced with that of the previous. Unclipped (bears original price of 6/-). Pages are in relatively good condition: some are lightly foxed, others have paint stains (from the Magic Pictures) or scribbled 'patterns'. A handful are dog-eared.
