Description:
Adapted from the rear cover: "Dr. Bert Fegg is a newcomer to the field of writing, having
previously concentrated on his other interests—defacing bus shelters, sticking old
chewing gum on nuns and frightening people on the Northern Line. In this book, Dr. Fegg
fearlessly details the things boys and girls should tell their parents about—
including the secrets of the 'Tally-Ho' Automatic Bed Wetter, and the exotic world of the
West Bromley Fighting Haddock."
Illustrated throughout with hilarious b&w and full-colour illustrations (some of which are double-spread or full-page). Glazed pictorial boards have the lightest of tanning around their edges. One corner slightly bumped; all others are straight. Apart from some very light tanning near the edges and in the gutter, all pages are in superb condition: crisp, bright, unmarked, tightly bound, and with not a jot of foxing in sight. The page inviting the reader to tear it out is still present! A first-rate copy of a rare book. Measures 24.5 cm × 18.5 cm (9.8″ × 7.4″). 4to. 60 pp. + 2 pages of acknowledgements. (SOLD) |
