Description: "'Bears like Paddington are very rare,' says Mrs. Bird, 'and a good thing too, or it would cost us a small fortune in marmalade.'
It's a good thing for lots of reasons that bears like Paddington are rare. His adventures are far from ordinary. And as he says himself, 'Things happen to me – I'm that sort of bear.' With his attempts at home decorating, detective work and photography the Brown family soon find that Paddington causes his own particular brand of chaos."

Illustrated throughout with humorous b&w sketches.

Minor wear to pictorial covers and spine – ≈4 cm of the latter has come away slightly. Internally, the book is in good overall condition. Pages are tanned (standard fare in a paperback of this vintage), but (with the exception of a speck or two on the flyleaf) remain completely free from foxing, or any other marking, and are tightly bound.

Measures 19.5 cm × 12.5 cm (7.8″ × 5″). Large 12mo. 127 pp.
