Lovely full-page, colour illustrations grace every other page – including one depicting a wonderfully nostalgic '60s kitchen scene, complete with PG Tips and Heinz Tomato Soup!

Pages are in excellent condition: crease-free with no foxing or other markings whatsoever – except for the fep, which has just the slightest hint of foxing (only noticeable if you look closely). The front board is in excellent condition, but the rear has some rubbing. As is the case with most matt board Ladybirds, the head and tail of the spine and the corners have been bumped. There is also some minor rubbing along the edge of the spine, and the covers have become slightly bowed. Binding is very tight.

A nice copy of a 35 year old book.
