Description:
A rare book detailing various experiments which can be conducted by budding scientists without
the need for any specialist equipment. The experiments fall into three categories: Air and
Water; Sound; Astronomy.
Illustrated throughout with excellent b&w, two-tone monochrome, and full-colour pictures and diagrams. The cover has some slight scuffing and minor wear in places, but remains very bright. It also appears to have been used as a rest at one point, since zig-zags and other marks, which are the result of pressure being applied with a pen, are visible under direct light. As is to be expected with paperbacks from this era, all pages are tanned, though the illustrations remain bright. Measures 27 cm × 20.5 cm (10.8″ × 8.2″). 4to. 48 pp. Price: £15.00 |
