Description: Blodger, gardener to Lord Trundle, decides to try his hand at topiary. Discovering he has a natural talent for it, he becomes too enthusiastic whilst working one bush and loses his footing, breaking his leg in the process. With poor Blodger unable to continue working, Lord Trundle enlists the help of two local lads, but soon realises that if you want something done right, it's best to do it yourself!

Lovely, double-spread colour illustrations throughout. Pastedowns and endpapers illustrated with a beautiful map of Fern Hollow.

Glazed pictorial boards are in excellent condition. One corner slightly bumped; all others plus spine are straight. Were it not for the previous owner writing his name in black ink on the ownership panel, the book would be as new.

Measures 29 cm × 20.5 cm (11.6″ × 8.2″). Oversize 4to. 21 pp.
