in the Middle Ages right up until the 20th Century.
In true Ladybird fashion, there are full-page colour illustrations on every other page.
Pages are in excellent condition with no foxing or other markings to speak of. The covers are in very good condition, the only major snags being some faint marking on the rear cover and the slightest hint of fraying on the spine. As is the case with most matt board Ladybirds, the corners have been bumped.
It is assumed this copy dates from 1971, since the results of the County Championships printed on the front pastedown contain entries right through to 1970.
