Description: An abridged version of both stories. Features the seldom seen Easter Greeting letter. No illustrations other than a chessboard at the beginning of Through the Looking Glass and some imaginatively arranged text (particularly on page 27) and section separators.

Glazed pictorial boards. Spine lightly bumped; corners are perfectly straight. Previous owner has imaginatively personalised her copy using stickers with colourful letters to spell out her name on the front pastedown. Pages have a vintage tan, whilst a handful have a few blots of foxing. Otherwise, the book is in very good internal condition. Pages are very tightly bound.

No year of publication given, but believed to date from c.1970. A surprisingly rare edition.
