Description: Lovely, full-page and in-text colour illustrations throughout. Illustrated pastedowns and endpapers. An error at the printing press has resulted in a number of illustrations coming out slightly fuzzy.

Glazed pictorial boards. Minor creasing to front (refer to image) plus negligible wear to extremities. Spine ends bumped and worn. Corners appear to be straight, but are also worn. Slight damage to front pastedown and endpaper. Final page has a 3 cm closed tear at its foot. Pages are lightly tanned around their edges, but remain bright and have largely resisted foxing. The sewn binding is sound.

Undated first edition of a very scarce title.
