Description:
The adventures of a mischievous little mouse – "the tomboy of the family" – who
doesn't heed her mother's warnings about being wary of the household cat.
Number 35 in the Panda Books series.
Enchanting half-page colour illustrations throughout. Patterned pastedowns and endpapers are illustrated with a variety of woodland and domestic animals.
Glazed pictorial boards. Apart from some negligible soiling on the rear, and rubbing on the spine, the covers are in excellent condition. Pages are crisp, bright and free from tanning, though several have a few blots and jots of foxing. Previous owner has affixed a small 2 cm × 3 cm piece of cardboard to the lower-left corner of the front pastedown.
An extremely rare book.
Original French title: Missi Souris.
Measures 25.5 cm × 20 cm (10.2″ × 8″). 4to. Unpaginated.
