Description:
"Here are Robin Hood, the bravest of them all, and Marion, the beautiful and gentle maid
who risked her life for the men of Sherwood – Little John, Friar Tuck, and Will
Scarlet. All working against the tyrannies of the wicked King John, the Sheriff of
Nottingham and his retainers.
Illustrated by [the author's] 13-year-old daughter, Rebecca, with work as brilliantly
coloured as an illuminated manuscript that captures all the delight and drama of the
period."
Illustrated with 11 stunning colour plates, plus numerous excellent b&w sketches.
Covers lightly scuffed along extremities; rear cover is creased in its left upper corner. Pages are lightly tanned (standard fare in a 40-year-old paperback), and the last few are slightly creased in their upper corner. Otherwise all are unmarked, free from foxing, and in very good condition for their age. The colour plates are mint. Super-tight binding.
A nice copy of a very rare book.
