Illustrated with 3 colour plates, plus a frontispiece – all in full colour.
Three-tone pictorial cloth boards are in stunning condition for their age. Spine and corners are only negligibly bumped. Internally, the book is also in superb order: pages are printed on thick paper, and are 90% free of foxing (what little there is, being confined to the first and last few leaves, and page tips). Minor mark on p. 137 (text unaffected), although this looks to be an imperfection in the paper. Super-tight binding. Negligible damage to the rear pastedown.
