Wonderful, full-page bold colour illustrations throughout. Pastedowns and endpapers are illustrated with a lovely pattern of Spot frolicking on a green background.

Glazed pictorial boards. Minor scratches on front and rear. Spine bumped; corners straight. A handful of pages have a faint mark made with a yellow wax crayon, and a further two have a negligible stain. Otherwise all pages are crisp, bright, unmarked and in excellent overall condition.

Scarce first edition.
