Illustrated throughout with nostalgic b&w diagrams and line drawings – the latter often humorous. Also contains a number of excellent colour plates – including one of the moon.

Textured pictorial boards laminated with library binding. Spine lightly worn at head. Lower corners bumped. Rectangular 'frame' of discolouration on title page and rfep where the pastedowns have made contact. Discreet initials in ballpoint in upper corner of ffep. One small b&w illustration has been partially coloured in with blue felt-tip, else all other pages are free from annotations, scribbling, &c. Pages have just a hint of tanning around their edges, and a handful have grubby marks from handling. Otherwise all pages are in very good condition: unmarked and free from foxing.

Remarkable condition for a 40 year old school textbook.
