Description: Contents include one superb colour frontispiece, and many black and white illustrations; several stories (including The Yarl of Tunga illustrated on the front cover) and a number of puzzles plus a crossword. All puzzles are unsolved, except one which has been completed in ball point pen, whilst the crossword has been completed in pencil.
Educational articles include matchbox label collecting, and instructions for making glove puppets.
Condition bordering on VG. Corners chipped and bumped; some bumping to top of front and bottom of rear board. Pages very lightly tanned, with light foxing on a few pages. One page slightly creased in top corner where it was dog-eared. Previous owners' (there were two!) names and contact details printed in ball point pen on inside board. Otherwise contents clean and bright. Not price-clipped (bears original price tag of 6/6). Binding tight.
