Overall, the book is in very good condition. The binding is very tight; the only foxing present is on the first 4 or so pages and on the front board – all pages are very clean and bright, with the exception of one page which has some grubby marks. There is some minor damage to the bottom of the spine – though this appears to have been repaired – and there is a 1½″ (3¾ cm) crack where the cover meets the spine (visible on photo). The annual was used asa rest for writing at one point as there are marks on the front cover where the pressure of the pen penetrated through the paper, but these are only visible when the cover is held up to direct light. There is also a 0.4″ (1 cm) 'scar' on the top of edge of the rear cover. Upper corner of front cover is bumped. Not price-clipped: bears its original price of 80p (though a printing error has caused the 'p' to be omitted). Measures 12″ × 9.2″ (30 cm × 23 cm). Large 4to. 112 pp. Price: £20.00 |
